GeoHealth

GeoHealth is a dynamic, action-oriented global health information system designed to collect, process, and disseminate health-related data.

The mission of GeoHealth is to become the most comprehensive and authoritative source of information regarding global health and to extend that capability to the tracking and reporting of diseases of interest to the global health community to permit appropriate action regarding the early detection, isolation, control, treatment, and eventual eradication of communicable diseases.

Technological components

Daedalus current focus is upon its GeoHealth health informatics project, which consists of three principal enabling technological components: Electronic Triage® the workflow engine at the heart of GeoHealth; the faceless anonymous individual health information collection mechanism that will also serve as a social networking platform; and, eventually, the live-streaming GeoHealthNews.

Beyond providing real-time, actionable epidemiological intelligence, the GeoHealth system aggregates anonymized health data to create tailored global health information with immense potential value. This includes predictive analytics and normative insights that can inform decision-making and public health strategies.

Individual Health Profiles: Members of faceless® will have free access to detailed health profiles, allowing them to explore their data in both absolute terms and in comparative contexts. This will offer an in-depth view of individual health information from various perspectives.

Aggregated Health Profiles: Aggregated health data, available at every geographic level, will be accessible to subscribers of GeoHealt as a Service. This will enable comprehensive analysis of population health trends, fostering improved public health planning and interventions.
